Mark Davey

Mark Davey

Chairman, Lakesmere Group

Mark began his construction career in the MOD / PSA progressing into Project and Commercial Management for a building and civil engineering company. He founded Lakesmere in 1993 following a management buy-out of its roofing and cladding division. Mark is the ‘face’ of Lakesmere and together with his management team has taken the company from strength to strength expanding its service offering and market coverage, steering the business through three recessions. Under his leadership, Lakesmere now operates internationally with offices throughout the UK, Middle East and Asia.

Ted McMullen

Ted McMullen

CEO, Lakesmere Group

Ted joined his father’s glass company, McMullen Glass, in 1978, and helped to establish the fledgling aluminium division. He led the company, which changed its name to McMullen Architectural Systems, to become the leading specialist glass facades provider in the UK, boasting a world class manufacturing facility and delivering iconic projects such as The Obel and the Stirling Prize winning Evelyn Grace Academy. In 2012, McMullen became part of the Lakesmere Group and Ted is now leading the growth of the Group by focusing on being the preferred choice of its customers through his commitment to excellence of service.

Chief Financial Officer, Lakesmere Group

Mark joined Lakesmere in 2012 bringing with him a wealth of experience of overseeing all financial and administration aspects of business at a senior level. He has held a variety of roles at CEO and finance director level in construction and manufacturing companies, as well as a hat-trick of roles at Portsmouth, Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday football clubs. Mark is responsible for managing the Lakesmere Group’s financial strategy and future investments during an exciting period of expansion in the UK and overseas.

Ed McKenzie

Ed McKenzie

Chief Operating Officer, Lakesmere Group

Ed joined Lakesmere in 1995 straight from university, commencing his construction career as a QS in the company’s Glasgow Office. Having worked his way up to Regional Commercial Director he was promoted to the role of Group Commercial Director in 2009. Although commercially focused, Ed’s detailed understanding of the technical aspect of Lakesmere’s offering also allow him to get involved at all levels and stages of the company’s project delivery.

Andy McKechnie

Andy McKechnie

Managing Director, Lakesmere South

Andy began his career in construction through design and architectural project management, taking a particular interest in the technical side of design. After moving on to direct complex projects, Andy progressed to the position of Managing Director before joining Lakesmere as Managing Director for the south region in 2016. Andy believes in creating a team that is well-informed, engaged and empowered to ensure the continuing success of Lakesmere South.

David Gray

David Gray

Managing Director, Lakesmere North

David joined the company in 1994 having worked in construction since leaving school. He began his Lakesmere career as a Quantity Surveyor, quickly moving up the ranks to his current position as MD for the North and Scotland. David’s 30 years in the construction industry has served him well providing a wealth of knowledge and experience. A native Glaswegian, David is passionate about delivering the best service possible to his clients and achieves this through good communication, teamwork and delivering projects to a high standard of quality, on time and within budget.

Ronnie Mills

Ronnie Mills

Managing Director, McMullen Facades

Ronnie joined McMullen’s in 1989 as a draughtsman, progressing to Technical Manager in 1996 and appointed to the Board of Directors in 1999. With over 25 years’ experience in designing complex building facades, Ronnie has a sound understanding of the structural, thermal and acoustic principles of good facade design as well as the aesthetics, durability and weather performance. As Managing Director, Ronnie is responsible for maintaining McMullen’s position as the UK's leading specialist glass facades contractor.
